BREEDING BABY SIAMESE FIGHTING FISH/ BETTA FISH! SIX STEPS!

Breeding betta fish/ Siamese fighting fish can be a very wonderful experience.

STEP 3

Having the right conditions in your fish tank is very important.

You can use purified water in your fish tank, but not tap water, as this contains minerals that can be harmful to your fish.

You can add an extremely small amount of aquarium salt, which helps to ward off disease and reduce stress without causing harm to your Siamese fighting fish/ betta fish.

Your fish tank temperature should be kept at around 82 degrees F or 26c and the PH around 7. The mating tank should contain about ten gallons.

You do not have to add much decorations or gravel, but you will need to have some large leafed aquarium live plants. See my blog on http://aquariumliveplants.blogspot.com/ The plants will provide a hiding place for your Siamese fighting fish/ betta fish female.
